Feature
Geofenced kiosk time clock
A shared PIN-pad kiosk, bound to a verified work location, so every punch is tied to a place and a person — not just a timestamp.
How it works
- Each kiosk is registered against a specific location with a defined geofence.
- Employees clock in and out with a personal PIN on the shared device — no personal phone or app required.
- A punch attempted from outside the registered location's geofence is rejected at the source, before it can ever reach a pay record.
- Every punch — accepted or rejected — is written to an immutable audit trail, so there's a clean record of exactly what happened and when.
Why it matters
Accurate punches are the foundation everything else is built on — overtime, break compliance, and itemized pay stubs all start from the raw clock-in and clock-out times captured here. A kiosk that can be spoofed or punched from off-site undermines every calculation downstream of it, which is why location verification happens at the point of the punch, not after the fact.
